Badger’s Parting Gifts Box 1 has been created to help children understand and manage bereavement.

The Fimo animal craft is an oven-hardening modelling clay kit. With step by step instructions included, children can create their own animals to play with.

Decorating the box with the paints provided personalises it whilst encouraging expression of emotions through art. The box is then 100% theirs and can be kept as a memory/keepsake box to keep treasured mementos safely inside.

  Badger knew that his life was coming to an end, he was old and tired, but he wanted to try to prepare his friends for his death. When the time came his friends were heartbroken, but they started to remember all of the things that Badger had taught each of them, leaving each with a parting gift.
  This story helps to explain that whilst we may not be able to physically see our loved one who has died, they can still remain an important part of our life.
